April Showers Bring May Flowers

For this month’s newsletter, I believe God wants me to share what has come out of my prayer closet for what’s coming next month. I would encourage you to pray over what I share and talk to the Lord about what this means for you.
The last couple of months of newsletters have been building on each other. I shared that in March, I saw very dark storm clouds coming. Then in April, I saw very heavy rain coming from those clouds.
When I was interceding over May, I received “April showers bring May flowers”.
I saw beautiful red tulips coming up from the ground.
I also saw berry canes coming up out of the ground. [Berry canes are the thorny plants that grow up that produce fruits like blackberries and raspberries.]
All this while rain was still pouring down from those dark clouds.
What do the flowers mean?
Matthew 6:28-29 – And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
James 1:9-11- Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.
Psalm 103:15-16 – As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more.
One of the analogies of the rich and successful in the Bible is the flower. The rich blossom in full beauty for all to see and shortly thereafter, they wither away.
I believe there is a hidden rich and righteous remnant that will be propelled forward in the days to come. They are in position, waiting and praying for God to move on their behalf.
People will wonder where this remnant came from when they were there all along. Many of them have been in hiding like David and Joseph were and when they came out, people were surprised by their ability in time of crisis.
1 Samuel 17:55 – As soon as Saul saw David go out against the Philistine [Goliath], he said to Abner, the commander of the army, “Abner, whose son is this youth?” And Abner said, “As your soul lives, O king, I do not know.”
Genesis 41:38 – And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are.
It’s only a surprise to people because others haven’t seen their abilities. They were training while they were hidden from their sight. David, the unconventional war fighter, trained by fighting lions and bears in secret. This prepared him for a battle that no other Israelite was willing to fight. Joseph successfully interpreted the dreams of the cup bearer and the baker, proving his ability before standing in front of Pharaoh.
They were both tested and ready for service the moment God propelled them forward. This is what gave God great glory. I believe God will also move the remnant forward in the days to come.
What do the berry canes mean?
Judges 8:7 – So Gideon said, “Well then, when the LORD has given Zebah and Zalmunna into my hand, I will flail your flesh with the thorns of the wilderness and with briers…”
What stood out to me about the berry canes were the thorns. These thorns hurt when you touch them.
I believe these thorns represent the disobedient or rebellious believer who will thrash about because God will take them to another depth of pain for not fully surrendering to God’s ways. They still want to hold on to their own ways even though God has been warning them to give them up.
The season of grace is over. The grace period was His kindness that was supposed to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4). Instead of choosing repentance, they took advantage of His kindness to use it to further their own agenda.
Now God is bringing correction. It will be painful but it is for their own good.
Jeremiah 29:10-13 – “For thus says the LORD: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart…”
When God punishes for disobedience, it’s to lead them back to Him. It’s what He did with His stiff-necked people in Jeremiah. Our God who is the same yesterday is the same today. He wants His stiff-necked people to come back to Him during our generation too.
With that said, when I saw the berry canes in my prayer, I also noticed that those berry canes will eventually produce a good fruit. Many of the rebellious will turn to Him in repentance under correction.
The question is, how long will they rebel until they submit? That will determine their level of pain and how much thrashing about they experience.
Why will God give riches to this righteous remnant?
Isaiah 43:19 – Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert…
I believe God is doing a new thing in this season and the riches of the righteous will be an important component.
The primary purpose will be to accelerate the advancement of the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Missionaries and Godly institutions will be funded by the wealth transfer.
A second purpose of riches will be used as the currency of influence for those called to influence the world with it.
Job 29:1-10
1 And Job again took up his discourse, and said:
2 “Oh, that I were as in the months of old,
as in the days when God watched over me,
3 when his lamp shone upon my head,
and by his light I walked through darkness,
when the friendship of God was upon my tent,
5 when the Almighty was yet with me,
when my children were all around me,
6 when my steps were washed with butter,
and the rock poured out for me streams of oil!
7 When I went out to the gate of the city,
when I prepared my seat in the square,
8 the young men saw me and withdrew,
9 the princes refrained from talking
and laid their hand on their mouth;
10 the voice of the nobles was hushed,
and their tongue stuck to the roof of their mouth.
Job was respected in the land before Satan came to destroy his family. Why? He was the greatest man in the east (Job 1:3).
People love listening to the Elon Musk and Bill Gates of the world just because they have a lot of zeros at the end of their bank account and have succeeded in worldly ventures. Their family lives are a disaster but the world doesn’t care. The world listens to those who are rich.
The rich Christians who will come forward will be a magnetic draw for the world to hear about Christ.
A third purpose is to prepare for the economic disaster that will strike in the near future. I think it’ll be worse than the Great Depression because most people don’t know how to grow food anymore and this may set people up to enter the beast system out of desperation to survive. The wealth will be used to preserve life around the world.
My opinion is that the disaster will happen in the next administration, sometime between 2028-2032.
This sudden wealth increase will give a short window of opportunity to get the gospel out.
For those who God has in position, get ready. The time is imminent.
